Our Why
Not long ago, we relied on taxis without much thought - no driver history, no route tracking, and no meaningful way to raise concerns. It wasn’t ideal, but it was the system we had.
Then came platforms like Uber, which changed our expectations. Today, millions won’t enter a vehicle without the visibility and safeguards these systems provide - live tracking, verified profiles, feedback mechanisms, and digital accountability.
When it comes to childcare, however, these basic protections simply don’t exist. Australia’s current framework relies on fragmented, state-based systems that:
Track only criminal convictions - not behavioural red flags
Lack any national employment history or feedback platform
Offer no structured way for parents, co-workers or employers to share concerns
Allow child care workers to move between centres or states before patterns are detected
ChildSafe Registry is a national, platform-based solution designed to close this gap.
It integrates live Blue Card/WWCC data, cross-centre history, employer and parent feedback, and AI-powered pattern alerts - offering the transparency, safety, and accountability this sector urgently needs.
Our goal is to work with government and regulatory partners to support a safer, more connected ecosystem - where childcare safety is no longer limited by outdated systems or jurisdictional blind spots.
Our mission is to create a safer future for children by holding childcare workers accountable, celebrating those who excel, and raising the standard of care across the industry.
ChildSafe Registry closes the gaps that put children as risk and builds trust for families, carers, and communities.
“Let’s choose to be proactive, not reactive, in shaping a safer future for the next generation..”
